My Story

Hi! I am sharing some pictures of my story with you to show my progress I have made since starting to take my life back in Spring 2013. At that point I was heavily in the middle of a separation/divorce, hitting rock bottom for me and I knew I needed a change in life.


My mantra to most client is "Something has to change" for you to achieve your goals and optimum health". One of the basics of my program is assess and analyze my clients' condition and situation, and then identify recommended changes to their diet and lifestyle. t


I am not looking for any pats on the back, just want to share to show that I was like the majority of others out there who let life take control of my health, happiness and life.

In addition, I want to share that I used the nutrition and lifestyle process that I currently practice now at Charlie Jenks Nutrition to achieve my results too. No gimmicks, no special shakes, smoothies, etc, just identifying and consuming the right foods, lifestyle and supplements for me and in the right ratios, while balancing the rest of my life as well.


I started out weighing 203 lbs in Feb 2013, and weighed in at 162 lbs earlier this week(July 2017). The exciting thing is I did consciously work to lose body fat, but never did I go on any type of extreme starvation or fasting diet, I just followed the diet plan or food list for me and then only within the past six months or so added some advanced recommendations for the program. I should note I had some sticking points to where I was having trouble getting out of the 180lb range, only to identfy that something had to change and at that point it was time to give up alcohol as a focus in my life and also higher glycemic carbohydrates. I then dropped about 10 lbs within a few months.


I should note that I have dropped my last 10 lbs with more advanced recommendations I learned from the nutritionist Dr. Michael Colgan to include the timing, additional supplementation of Vit D3, melatonin, breathing exercises, getting a great night's sleep, when and what to eat breakfast and more.


I am very excited with my current level of happiness and health, and love to share this process with others. My business is picking up and I do virtually no advertising. That said, I have goals to expand my business to include working with other nutritionists and trainers to work with and help more people achieve optimum health and happiness.
