Do you consistently have food cravings?


I know I did for many years and it was not until I figured out the right foods for me and in the right proportions did they go away.


I was speaking with a new client recently about my past experiences,  I can remember having food on my mind and trying to figure out what I was going to eat next all day long. It was my obsession and back then I was working out like a maniac and most people thought I was healthy. I knew deep down back then that I was not, but refused to accept it. Sound familiar?? I could not become satisfied with the foods I was eating and from what I now know it should have been obvious, my diet then consisted primarily of carbs and I even fell for the “fats are death” myth too. Being from NJ a large part of my diet was breads, pasta or pizza. I now know those foods are about 180 degrees in the wrong direction for me.


After testing for my type for many years I know I thrive more on fats than carbs. That written I am not on a keto or just protein or primary fat type diet, I still eat carbs, but have just replaced the those breads, pasta and pizza with primarily vegetables and some fruit that are right for me. And what seems crazy is I do not miss the other types of carbs anymore as well. Just like I do not miss the alcohol I was consuming in excess too. I feel too good now to go back to that old, bread and alcohol consuming person as well.
